Then, a cohort experience is for you! Bridge to the Boardroom’s Board Campaign Success experience equips and empowers a thoughtfully curated cohort of diverse executives to attain paid board positions on public and private corporate boards.

What to Expect

Through one-on-one coaching with an Executive Board Strategist, active participation in in-person and virtually facilitated forums, as well as exclusive access to the resources in our Board Campaign Playbook, the diverse cohort of leaders participating in a Board Campaign Success cohort:

  • Have a clear reason propelling and sustaining their campaign for board service

  • Overcome internal obstacles to achieving boardroom aspiration

  • Define their Board Value Proposition - what uniquely qualifies them for board service

  • Generate their Board Pitch

  • Create a compelling Board Portfolio – the documents required for board opportunities

  • Activate a Connection and a Visibility Strategy to add value, build relationships, be known and  seen in the right circles, garner support, and uncover board opportunities

  • Stand out as competitive candidates during board reviews and interviews

  • Prepare to have value-add  impact as board members

Application Process

Each cohort includes a variety of executives all with the experience and expertise boards are seeking. To be considered for a cohort, click the application link for the cohort that best suits your schedule. Please note, cohort sizes are kept relatively small so earlier applicants are given priority.

Spring 2025 Cohort members will be notified by April 22, 2025.

A launch call for cohort participants will take place on April 24, 2025, from 12 to 1 pm ET. Please hold the date and time on your calendar.

Important Experience Details:

  • There will be an in-person facilitated forum (location TBD) May 12 -13, 2025

  • Virtually facilitated forums will be held 1:00-3:00p ET on 6/9/2025, 7/14/2025, 8/11/2025, 9/8/2025, and 9/29/2025

  • Each cohort participant receives 3 hours of hyper-individualized coaching with an Executive Board Strategist from May through September 2025.
